The day has finally arrived, I go to collect my RD.
A few things to sort before being able to go, pick Declan (the son) up, and take Daisy (the daughter) to swimming and Poppy (the other daughter) has to come along for the ride. With Declan collected and swimming done, sorted dinner it was then round to my mum and dad's to collect the trailer.
We are on the road, Hinckley here we come, Daisy and Poppy have no idea where we're going and it's not long before we get "Are we there yet?".
Two hours twenty minutes it took to get to Hinckley, a little longer than Waze said but we did get stuck in traffic a couple of times.
We found Jon's (the guy selling the bike) house really easy, thanks Waze. Jon was expecting us and he must of known it was us when we pulled up because he was straight out and greeted us.
Daisy and Poppy dying for the loo that was out first stop and then the bike, there it was in all its glory, all set out so I could see what I was letting myself in for, and that's not a bad thing, I was excited.
Jon confirmed the frame and engine number matched the log book and we started to load the van and trailer. It just fit, if one more thing needed to go in the van Daisy or Poppy would of been coming home the next day sent recorded delivery (that's a joke).
We filled out the V5, swapped for cash and shook Jon's hand, thanked him and we was back on the road homeward bound.
Got home, kids knackered, Declan and I put the bike in the shed, returned the trailer and that was that. Nothing more I could do until Sunday.
